Every Monday at 8.00pm except bank holidays The Bridge Folk Club is the second oldest folk club in Britain, running since 1958. It is the oldest club running in it’s original venue, and has hosted many legends of the folk scene. We have great local, national and sometimes international guests. Just as important are our singers and musicians nights. Come along to perform, or just to listen. There are more spots available on singer’s nights. We have feature nights starring the students of the Newcastle University Folk and Traditional Music course. You will be amazed by the virtuosity and maturity of their performances. We don’t run at Christmas, New Year or on bank holidays. The Bridge Hotel is a Victorian delight, very welcoming with a great selection of craft beers.
